If you are currently unfamiliar, automatic writing is the process of channeling through writing. Abraham Hicks is a well known channel who may be the most famous right now for sharing messages from other realms. Just as channeled messages may come through from passed on loved ones, pets or psychic messages, these automatic writings channel messages delivered with pen and paper.

I have been so fortunate as to have first hand experience with an automatic writer who happens to be my brother. He and I began reviewing his poetry together over the last few years. His messages are deep, profound and delightfully clever. Anytime we sit down to review these messages we spend hours discussing them, and the knowledge they reveal.
He has shared with me that many people with whom he has shared these messages may have feedback regarding the format in which these pieces are shared. This is not traditional poetry, rap or storytelling. Not designed to adhere to traditional written English rules, these pieces meld words and bend meanings to create beautiful interwoven messages of introspection, love, higher purpose and word play.
Sharing sessions of dissection of these messages has been therapeutic in discussing the less accepted viewpoints outside of the confines of society. Both gifted in different ways he and I have been able to lend insight and wisdom to each other in sharing these beautiful works.
I see automatic writing as a transmission of sacred energy through the creative written process. My brother has described it as a flow that comes through him, onto the paper without his own intent to compose a piece or initial forethought as to what will be contained therein.
What waits to flow through you? Instead of filtering written essays, stories, poems what if we tap into the thread of consciousness to reveal information to ourselves and others? How can we serve as the medium between that which can be seen and that which cannot be seen and how will it benefit us?
