(Note from author, this was written several years ago) About two weeks ago, I got an invitation to sign up for the annual tapping summit. I’d heard of tapping but never looked any further into it.

The universe has a special way of always showing me what I need and this was no exception. My intuition prompted me to sign up for the tapping summit (actually their 6th!). I watched the intro videos and started listening. I loved what I heard and felt! My favorite part was the meditations.
As I listened I found myself feeling so grateful I had listened to my intuition! The method of tapping sounds a little strange but it really fills in the space between your consciousness and feelings.
In my opinion, the best thing about tapping is that it is so versitle. Speakers presented their own perspective as psychologists, coaches and doctors. Real life applications are limitless. I really appreciated that the summit made this easy to integrate as a beginner. I also felt so comfortable knowing I can use it mentally, as an addition to meditation and as a journaling tool.
I shared the application I found the most moving, through the use of PTSD recovery with orphans in Rwanda. The light foundation has employed this technique in crisis recovery related to many recent shootings, bullying and around the world.
Tapping is obviously picking up popularity as more experts use it and experience results with clients and themselves. I am an instant advocate as I have begun using it to push through many stressors, cases of anxiety and to move past things I didn’t even realize I was holding on to. I feel lighter in general and recommend you consider it! Look past the initial silliness and just give it a try!
